On April 16th at CREA VENICE I presented the performance and video-installation DO NOT FEED WILD ANIMALS, a reflection on the city of Venice through the figure of the seagull.
Symbol of freedom through the centuries, the “cocài” is today perfectly at home in the commercial streets of Venice, where it has specialized in the rapacious kleptomaniac theft of sandwiches, pizzas and croissants. Inspired by “I like America and America likes me” by Joseph Beuys, the performance is a wish for the city to return to being a symbol of freedom and connection across the seas. With the participation of performer Gáspár Boti.

From April 16th to 18th an homonymous video-installation created together with the photographer Ioan Pilat has been displayed, check it out!
…We are still collecting stories about Venice and Seagulls! If you have any you can send a vocal message to +393494262775 (whatsapp, telegram, signal). It would be very precious material.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR OTHER VENUES IN VENICE TO PERFORM!
Contact me in case any idea pops up in your mind.
Thanks again to Gàspàr Boti, Ioan Pilat, Luisa Tosetto for helping with graphics, and to CREA Cantieri del Contemporaneo (Pier Paolo Scelsi, Sara Bizai, Gaia De Santi, VIktoria Fadeeva, Filippo Viane) and to the local craftmen.
